cupcake day

since we didn't have an official birthday party for Will we decided that we'd make some cupcakes and hope that he isn't as terrible of an eater as his daddy was aka he'd eat some frosting at the very least...here goes our weekend...

grandad came up from florida to spend the weekend with us! we were very happy to see him!



we also got a visit from some of the aunties...





yes...I CAN tell that this weekend is about ME : )

and finally...CUPCAKES!!! which as you can see we really loved...



ACTUALLY WE DIDN'T LIKE CUPCAKES AT ALL!!!!! YUCK!!!



well...at least we got to play with our new alphabet train after cupcakes...



we had a great day. thank you to everyone that was here for our cupcake day.

as you can see Will was ready for his birthday today! a big thanks to his teacher Tanya for making Will a special Ohio State themed birthday shirt. not sure who liked the shirt more...Will or his daddy!





we had a present to open from aunt becky and uncle jackit this morning...



"see dad!!! it's blocks!!!"



as always though...the box seems to provide as much entertainment as the actual toy itself!



we'd like to say that Will was this happy to put his new snowsuit ON to go out and play (or to take pictures for mommy) but this was actually when we started to unbundle him. he was not happy outside which is understandable...it's been all ice...not the best snow to try get our kid in touch with his yankee genes : )

well...we are still not eating solid foods very well unless it's a puff (does that count??? probably not). despite this face that was made after EVERY bite cottage cheese went pretty well tonight...

perhaps sock should be part of his diet...he's constantly taking his off and putting them in his mouth. this week he decided to move on to putting other peoples socks in his mounth...



we're getting ready for Santa...breaking in our reindeer pajamas for Christmas Eve!
